So, for a light hearted introduction, I think I've found the musical theme for the bald woman.
I think lyrically it really, really fits her. Very obsessive, and she's going to be losing a lot of the things she is in the course of securing her goal. Jose Gonzalez has a fantastic musical skill, and I really think All You Deliver fits my character nicely. The bad guys win, in the sense of stripping her of many of these things...but it's in a sense, so we'll see how well it's appreciated in the end.
Secondly, I will be on vacation from the 22nd through the 29th of this month, and will be well away from keyboards or concerns until then. Hopefully nothing all too serious takes place in Ancerious in my absence, though I expect if anything does happen, I'll be able to effect warranted effects therein.
Finally, in terms of work: with my personal laptop down, that means that art production will be more or less at a standstill; a bit of a hindrance, but barring one particular unit planned for the campaign with Myric's boys once the war begins, not all too problematic. I have been focusing on brainstorming things, and I don't think General Pallam or the engineer Uthum will disappoint in that aspect. I expect I'll be posting the breakdown of relations between the Ascendancy and the Union of Worlds once I return.
So hold tight, keep smiling, and enjoy your week, players of Ancerious. I am on holiday.

Freight Steam: the unsung backbone of modern trade and industry, these heavy haulers are crucial to a nation’s economic strength, moving everything from refined steel to raw iron ore to oil tankers to freezer cars full of meat and fresh produce. --oOo-- Masthead Lounge, Battersea Hotel Mandrachos City, Alexandrachos Tribal Republic 15 May 23AF "It only requires the briefest study," Eli Onnda advised, newspaper in one hand and the socially acceptable mid-afternoon cocktail (gods bless, he thought to himself, the Coatlique distillers who thought to ferment this piss) "of the international news today to make the observation that revolutionary struggles are everywhere." He poked at various headlines with his glass and called out names. "Vaclavich, Bahn Rah, Caesulia--they all host remarkably prominent people's movements. Now, these movements," he continues, taking a sip as a pause as he surveyed the hopeful faces (and the inherent spies from foreign intelligence) attending this weeks' meeting of the International League of Socialist Organizations, "all share something important in common: they all originate in locations which society, in a sense, has failed to provide those basic necessities for health and

(a large bloc of Greckstandardt text follows, warning that unauthorized viewing of this footage is a crime against the state, with further details specifying that it is intended only for the highest level of security clearance) (slide of the seal of the Nordisle Autonomous Scientific Region, followed by a slide of the Greckstatt's national seal) (the screen shows color footage of a young boy, bald, and with a prominent scar on his forehead, seated and looking towards the camera. He looks to be about seven or eight years old. He begins speaking, his language strange and warped, almost as if his voice was overdubbed over his own speaking. His demeanor is calm and collected; he is not alarmed by the strange sounds he is making.) (A voice, offscreen): "Disengaging dual audio video feed. Now just the left side, please." (The boy begins speaking fluent Isperian. He is reciting a rather famous line of a rather famous play.) "Oh, wonder! How many
