Halcyon Dynamics HA-2 Compact Kinetic Carbine

In many ways, the HA-2 is a dinosaur and a throwback to classic chemically-fired weaponry. While sacrificing the anti-shielding capabilities of its stable mate the HA-3, the HA-2 (known variously as "the kicker" and "Hatu") has proven itself as a cheap and reliable weapon system, and has been widely exported across Ancerious. Despite its bullpup configuration, the HA-2 is more of a lead spreader than a precision weapon; though variants with folding stocks do exist that rectify this, the design has retained its popularity due to its comparitive small size-being only slightly larger than high powered pistols while carrying the stopping power of a marine's carbine-and has proven itself lethal despite its seeming obsolete nature in close quarters situations.

Cheap, effective, and loud, the kicker gives those who wield it a very presentable amount of bang for their buck.
